A SUV lost control and ran into a parked tractor-trailer on Foothill Blvd. in Sunland this afternoon. Both occupants were extricated and taken to local hospitals in critical condition.  Photos by David DeMulle

The drive of the motorcycle Jeff, sustained 2 broken writs, a broken pelvis and crushed sternum.  He is presently in a coma.  All friends are encouraged to visit him at Holy Cross.  Doctors assured us that he can hear, and friends around him will speed his recovery.
